Retiring Officer/Board Member Recognition - Chapter Level

Purpose

  • To openly honor a Chapter Officer and/or Board member retiring from said position

  • To acknowledge service within a specified board position at the end of said service

History

  • Award established in 1996

  • Award is given annually at the discretion of the Chapter President and/or Board of Directors

  • Award is selected and kept unannounced until time of presentation

  • Award given to more than one (1) recipient per year

  • Recipient(s) name(s) printed in the Chapter newsletter

Qualifications

  • Meet all qualifications of office/board position held

  • In good standing at the time of award consideration

  • This award may be given posthumously

  • May include but is not limited to Chapter officer/board member who is proceeding to further Chapter officer/board position

  • Nominated by any Chapter member

  • Approved by the Chapter President and/or the Board of Directors
