Fundraising Project of the Year - National Level

Purpose

  • To honor the profitable efforts of one Chapter, individual and/or group who has dedicated exceptional service in fundraising towards AMTA goals
  • To assist the AMTA with financial needs on a Chapter level 
  • To benefit the community

History

  • Award established in 1996
  • Has been given on an as needed basis since that time

Qualifications

  • Recipient does not have to be a present or past member of AMTA
  • Recipient must have contributed to AMTA and/or the massage profession in a meaningful manner
  • Recipient may receive only one (1) National individual award in any given year. For example: Recipient may receive the Fundraising Project of the Year Award and the Law & Legislation Committee Award; however, recipient may not receive the Fundraising Project of the Year and the Distinguished Service Award
  • This award may be given posthumously
  • Recipient must contribute to the massage profession in an outstanding manner
  • Recipient shall not have received this award in the previous year
  • Recommended by the Awards Committee
  • Approved by the Executive Committee
