  • To openly honor a Government Relations Committee that has provided exceptional accomplishments at the Chapter and/or the National level regarding government relations activities
  • To acknowledge and promote achievement(s) deserving of said recognition by persons involved
  • To recognize team effort

History

  • Award established in 1996
  • To be given annually
  • Award is selected and kept unannounced until time of presentation
  • Award may be given to more than one (1) committee and all said therein per year. Includes but not limited to committees of the past is to be honored
  • Committee names printed in Hands On

Qualifications

  • Committee accomplishment(s) exceed expectations in a timely and cooperative manner
  • Cooperation and team play displayed on committee
  • Members of committee are in good standing at the time of award consideration
  • This award may be given posthumously
  • Committee members may serve on more than one (1) committee
  • More than one (1) committee may be selected per year
  • More than one (1) committee member may be a past recipient of another Outstanding National Committee Award
  • Recommended by the Awards Committee
  • Approved by the Executive Committee
