AMTA's National Massage Therapy Awareness Week
Start planning now for 2010:
October 24 - 30
Educate,
share, promote -- these are just a few of the goals of AMTA’s National
Massage Therapy Awareness Week (NMTAW). AMTA’s awareness week is designed
to raise public understanding about the benefits of massage, attract media
attention to nationwide activities being carried out by AMTA chapters,
members, as well as AMTA school members, and to give all AMTA members an
opportunity to demonstrate their profession and skill.
Use this
week to share your expertise with the public through a massage
demonstration; participate in one of AMTA’s national volunteer
opportunities, such as
Susan G. Komen
for the Cure® or other
national volunteer
opportunities; and promote and develop your business by displaying the
awareness poster created by AMTA. Whether you are participating with your
Chapter, with other AMTA members or on your own, every effort is equally
important in promoting massage and the profession!
