Evanston, IL – The American Massage Therapy
Association (AMTA) has won the Gold Healthcare
Advertising Award, the highest honor, in the
category of magazine advertising series (non-hospital)
for its consumer magazine advertising campaign. This
award recognizes excellence in healthcare advertising
and is judged on message effectiveness, creativity,
consumer appeal and overall impact. It is the oldest,
largest and most prestigious healthcare advertising
competition with more than 4,300 entries.
The award-winning ads, created in
2006, feature AMTA members and their clients. The ads
focus on the many benefits of massage and the importance
of looking for an AMTA member. The ads have appeared in
national consumer publications including Alternative
Medicine, Body & Soul, Health, Fitness, Shape, Redbook
and Working Mother. The campaign will continue
to run in national magazines through the end of the
year.
Healthcare Marketing Report,
sponsor of the Healthcare Advertising Awards, is a
leading publication covering all aspects of healthcare
marketing, advertising and strategic business
development. This is the 24th annual
Healthcare Advertising Awards.
The American Massage Therapy Association is a
non-profit, professional association with more than
