AMTA Advertising Wins Gold Award

Evanston, IL – The American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) has won the Gold Healthcare Advertising Award, the highest honor, in the category of magazine advertising series (non-hospital) for its consumer magazine advertising campaign.  This award recognizes excellence in healthcare advertising and is judged on message effectiveness, creativity, consumer appeal and overall impact.  It is the oldest, largest and most prestigious healthcare advertising competition with more than 4,300 entries.

The award-winning ads, created in 2006, feature AMTA members and their clients.  The ads focus on the many benefits of massage and the importance of looking for an AMTA member.  The ads have appeared in national consumer publications including Alternative Medicine, Body & Soul, Health, Fitness, Shape, Redbook and Working Mother.  The campaign will continue to run in national magazines through the end of the year.

Healthcare Marketing Report, sponsor of the Healthcare Advertising Awards, is a leading publication covering all aspects of healthcare marketing, advertising and strategic business development. This is the 24th annual Healthcare Advertising Awards.

The American Massage Therapy Association is a non-profit, professional association with more than 56,000 members throughout the United States and in some 27 other countries.  The association is directed by volunteer leadership chosen through its national election and fosters ongoing, direct-member-involvement through its 51 chapters.
