This 10 month course teaches the basic of Massage Therapy and business application so students are prepared to enter into an position of working for themselves or one of the many career opportunities available in spas, healthclubs, resorts, etc. Courses cover:
Spinal Anatomy, chair massage
Facial Massage, joints, Integumentary System
Respiratory system, geriatric massage
Cirulatory/digestive systems, nutrition and body mechanics
Anatomy of upper extremeties, trigger points, postural conditions
Nervous, endocrine, lympathic systems, hydrotherapy
Adjunctive Modalities, Business Practices
Lower extremities, sports massage, deep tissue therapy
Spa Technologies, Law & Ethics, First Aid, CPR
