Additionally, 24 hours of Cellular Biology is covered. This is a basic class in cellular metabolism. It focuses on how altered metabolism can cause different disease states. |

Massage theory is an integral part of all lectures and practice classes. The "Massage Technician" course lays a the foundation for theory and each advance class builds on it. As students evolve with advanced training, they are introduced to higher levels of theory as they are able to incorporate it into their professional practices. |

Massage techniques are taught throughout the Therapist program beginning with Massage Technician (79 Hours of practice) and continuing with Advanced Techniques - Active (sports/deep tissue) To Advanced Techniques - Passive which includes myofascial release work, passive stretching, palliative massage, counterstrain techniques, manual lymph drainage, hydrotherapy, introduction to craniosacral work, introduction to color and sound to enrich an environment for greater a healing effect. |
