We make student scholarships available on a rolling basis to support the next generation of massage therapists.
AMTA will award one lucky student the Massage Therapy Journal $5000 AMTA Scholarship
How Do I Apply?
Complete the application, and, in a few sentences, answer the question: Why do you want to become a massage therapist?

Applicants must be enrolled or admitted in a 500-hour minimum, entry-level massage therapy program at the time the scholarship application is submitted.
The Application deadline is through January 31. The recipient will be announced in March 2026 on the AMTA Scholarship Recipients page.
The $10,000 Rick Boden Healer at Heart Scholarship® closed on November 30, 2025 and the recipient will be announced in January.
