This award is the highest award bestowed upon an AMTA member by a chapter.

About the Chapter Meritorious Award

Purpose

• To openly honor an AMTA member
• To acknowledge diligent volunteerism done in an altruistic manner

History

• Award established in 1969
• Has been given annually since that time
• Recipients are honored annually
• Recipients will receive a recognition plaque from the National office

Qualifications

• Recipient is an active AMTA member for at least three (3) years in good standing
• Only one (1) nominee from each chapter can be a recipient
• Recipient shall not have received this award in the last 3 years
• Chapter board must approve recipient

Once your nominee has been voted on and approved by your chapter board, please send their name to Colleen Leeders at ckleeders@amtamassage.org by April 15, 2025.  

Chapter Meritorious recipients will be honored at the 2025 AMTA National Convention in Dallas, TX.
