FSMTB Announces Launch of New Exam Service Center and Upcoming Technology Blackout

The Federation of State Massage Therapy Boards (FSMTB) has announced the upcoming launch of its new Exam Service Center, featuring a range of technological upgrades designed to improve user experience. As part of this transition, FSMTB will migrate hundreds of thousands of files to the new system, ensuring more efficient and streamlined services for candidates and schools.

To facilitate the migration, a temporary technology blackout will begin on March 1, 2025, and is expected to last up to two weeks. During this time, many online services will be temporarily unavailable, including the ability for individuals to submit or check the status of their Massage & Bodywork Licensing Examination (MBLEx) applications, receive Authorizations to Test, or transfer exam results. Additionally, schools will be unable to access the Education Verification Center during the outage.

AMTA encourages you to plan accordingly and complete any necessary actions before the blackout period begins. For updates and further details, individuals and schools are encouraged to visit the FSMTB website or contact customer support before March 1. As always, AMTA is committed to supporting massage therapists, students, and schools.
