Keynote Speaker, Dolly Chugh to Kick off the AMTA National Convention
Join us for a thought-provoking opening session on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI).
We are excited to announce our National Convention Keynote Speaker, Dolly Chugh, social psychologist and management professor at the New York University Stern School of Business! Join us on Thursday morning at Convention, as Dolly leads us through an empowering discussion on DEI and ways we can enhance our massage community by fostering a more inclusive and supportive environment for both practitioners and clients.
Named one of the Top 100 Most Influential People in Business Ethics by Ethisphere Magazine, Dolly has extensive experience in championing ethical practices and promoting positive social change. She is best known for authoring two books: The Person You Mean to Be: How Good People Fight Bias and A More Just Future: Psychological Tools for Reckoning with our Past and Driving Social Change. Dolly has also received prestigious awards, including the Distinguished Teaching Award in 2020 and the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Faculty Award in 2013 from New York University.
Come hear how Dolly’s research on “bounded ethicality” and the “psychology of good people” can help massage therapists better understand the unique needs of a wide range of clients, leading to more effective massage sessions and client outcomes. Together, we can unlock the potential of our massage therapy community and create lasting change.
