Resources for Students Affected by MPower Career Training Closure
AMTA recently learned that MPower Career Training announced its official school and program closure on July 19, 2024. While we do not have information about the reasons for the closure, we want to extend our support by providing students with some valuable resources during this challenging time.
The Arizona Private Postsecondary Education Board recently hosted a town hall meeting for students, explaining the next steps and potential options, including transferring credits to another school or filing a claim with the Student Tuition Recovery Fund through July 19, 2025 (one year from MPower’s closure date).
To assist you during this transition and help obtain your transcript, we have compiled a list of links to the education departments in the states where MPower had school campuses. For information on how to collect your transcript, or obtain a potential student tuition refund, please reach out to your state’s education department.
