Description
We are a college-based Massage Therapy Education Program located at the South Campus of Tarrant County College District, and part of this community college system that has been part of the Tarrant County Community for 50 years. Our program was founded in 2010 in response to a need for a reasonable cost, high quality education in massage which exceeds state requirements. The extra time is spent on the scientific basis of our profession and in providing more experience and additional depth of techniques in bodywork to our students. Our teaching staff is composed of experienced LMT (licensed massage therapist) personnel who hold a Texas MTI (massage therapy instructor) license, and some supplementary faculty from the college in the area of allied sciences. Tarrant County College is approved by SACS (Southern Association of Colleges and Schools) a national educational approval organization.
